- Brenda J. Mabie, 42, of West Milton Road, Ballston Spa, died Saturday, Feb. 18, in Lowville, after a snowmobile accident.
Born in Glens Falls Nov. 21, 1963, she was the daughter of Carl and June Gilman.
She was a graduate of South High in South Glens Falls and Mohawk Valley Community College. Brenda was a home and community-based service coordinator for AIM Services of Saratoga Springs.
She enjoyed decorating and outdoor activities. Her greatest joy was making her house a home for her husband and children to enjoy. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Rickke; her children, Joshua, Matt and Morgan of Ballston Spa; parents, Carl and June Gilman of Lakeland, Fla.; three brothers, Carl Gilman Jr. of South Glens Falls, Thomas Gilman of Lakeland, Fla., and Michael Gilman of Tampa, Florida. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held noon Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006, at Armer Funeral Home Inc., 39 East High St., Ballston Spa.
Relatives and friends are invited to the service 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 5, at Union Cemetery, Route 4 and Main Street, Fort Edward.
