  Obituary	Suzanne was born in Biloxi, Mississippi on January 6, 1950, to parents Viola Schmidt Cocran and Marvin Cocran. She graduated from Slidell High School in 1968 and went on to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Louisiana in Monroe. Suzanne worked for the YMCA of the United States for 39 years. One of her proudest achievements was being placed in the Southeast YMCA's Hall of Fame Class of 2022. Suzanne is survived by her husband Edward L. Mabie Jr. of Austin, Texas; sisters Deborah Cocran- Hock of Metairie, Louisiana, and Marlene Cocran Luparello of Picayune, Mississippi; sons Charles Austin Leake and Lucas Bernard Leake of Austin, Texas; daughter-in-law Kayla Lyn Gant of Austin, Texas; grandson Carter Austin Robert Leake of Austin, Texas; daughter-in-law Lexy Stecker Leake of Austin, TX; and step-son Timothy Ivan Mabie of Houston, TX.
